Z Space's 244-seat Main Stage, located at 450 Florida St, is the crown jewel of our New Works and Curated Rentals programs. A former canning factory, Z Space took over this space from Project Artaud in 2009. With its 40-foot tall ceilings and charmingly spartan decor, this theater is a set designer's dream—a blank canvas waiting to be transformed into any multitude of immersive, innovative dramatic worlds.

The lighting grid is dead hung from the high steel. There are steel I-beam columns on stage
right every 25’6”(on center) – starting 8’ downstage from the front edge of the stage
· Grid fixed height: 23’8”’ – stage floor to lighting grid (may vary slightly by pipe)
· Structural Beam height: 33’ – stage floor to high steel
· Roof height: 39’5” – theatre floor to building ceiling
