2B: PLACE ACTIVITY
Due: 5pm EST, Friday 5/1
- choose a song/video from the course videography
- put the video to the side for the moment, and focus on the song
- identify at least three different musical sections that make up the song. Examples: intro, verse 1, chorus, bridge and so forth. It doesn't matter what the sections are. The important part is to be able to recognize three discrete sections.
- using your cellphone or digital camera, take photos of three different "places" in your current physical world, each photo corresponding in some way to a section of the song
- make sure these three photos have the same aspect ratio (proportion of width to height)
- order them in sequence and write a one or two sentence statement about the story they tell
- email these photos (with an indication of order) and your written statement to erikflatmo@gmail.com
